The Yamaha FG-151 is a 1970s Orange Label model built in Japan — part of the classic early FG era known for warm tone, reliability, and solid MIJ craftsmanship. Loved by vintage players for their balanced voice and comfortable feel, these early Japanese-built FG models continue to be one of the best-value vintage acoustics on the market.

This FG-151 features a spruce top with nato back and sides, producing a clear, woody tone with good projection. It has been fully cleaned, polished and freshly set up with low action at approx. 2.5mm (low E) / 2.0mm (high E).

The body binding has aged into a beautiful amber “vintage honey” colour, a natural vintage characteristic — and importantly, it remains tight with no separation.

Condition is good for its age: light cosmetic wear but no cracks or structural issues. Neck is straight, frets are clean, and the guitar is ready to play.
