The Yamaha FG-250J is a 1970s Black Label model built during Yamaha’s golden MIJ era — known for warm tone, great reliability, and classic vintage character. These early FG models have become favourites among collectors and players looking for a dependable, great-sounding acoustic at an affordable price.

This FG-250J features a spruce top with mahogany back and sides, producing a clear, woody tone with a warm midrange. It has been fully cleaned and freshly set up with low action at approx. 2.75mm (low E) / 1.75mm (high E).

Condition is good for its age: normal vintage wear, marks and finish ageing, but no cracks or structural concerns. Neck is straight, frets are clean, and the guitar plays comfortably across the neck.
