The Yamaha FG-280 is a 1970s Green Label model built in the Nippon Gakki factory — one of the most desirable early Yamaha eras. Known for their warm tone and dependable MIJ craftsmanship, these guitars remain favourites among vintage players.

This FG-280 features a spruce top with rosewood back and sides, delivering a resonant, balanced sound. It has been fully cleaned and freshly set up with low action at approx. 2.5mm (low E) / 2.0mm (high E).

Upgrades include:

✔️ Bone nut

✔️ Bone saddle

✔️ Bone bridge pins

These upgrades improve clarity, sustain, and overall tonal response compared to the original plastic parts.

Condition is good for its age: light cosmetic wear but no cracks or structural issues. Neck is straight, frets are clean, and the guitar is ready to play.
