The Yamaha FG-301B is part of Yamaha’s respected FG line from the late 1970s to early 1980s, proudly Made in Japan. Identifiable by its orange label, this dreadnought model features a spruce laminate top with rosewood back and sides, producing a warm, balanced tone with excellent projection – a hallmark of vintage Yamaha acoustics.
This example is in very good condition for its age, showing only light cosmetic wear (see photos). Structurally sound with no cracks or repairs. The neck is straight, frets are in good health, and the guitar plays smoothly with a comfortable setup at approx. 2.25mm on the low E / 1.75mm on the high E at the 12th fret. A fitted hard case is included.
