The K.Yairi G1-FN is a rare and hard-to-find hand-crafted Made in Japan acoustic guitar, built in Kani, Gifu, during K.Yairi’s highly respected production era. K.Yairi guitars are celebrated worldwide for their meticulous Japanese craftsmanship, musical responsiveness, and warm, mature tonal character, and have long been associated with discerning players and artists such as Paul McCartney.
This 2000 K.Yairi G1-FN features a solid cedar top and a body shape inspired by the classic Gibson LG-3 / B-25 style, giving it a focused, balanced, and highly musical voice. The tone is warm and sweet, with rich mids, clear trebles, and an intimate, responsive character that makes it especially enjoyable for fingerstyle and light strumming.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and has been set up with a very comfortable low action of approximately 2.0mm on the Low E and 1.5mm on the High E at the 12th fret, offering smooth and effortless playability. It also comes with its original plush-lined hard case, which fits the guitar perfectly and provides excellent protection.
